First off I want to say congrats to all who finished the challenge this year. I truly believe that the challenge is the jump start to a lifetime of fitness. The awards ceremony was amazing and there were definitely many jar dropping pictures! I hope you all enjoyed my before pictures! I really do believe that no matter how much you hate them that you should always hold on to them and look at them. Someone asked me tonight what my biggest motivation was and I can to honestly tell you that it’s looking at those pictures. I never want to be that person again and I hope you all feel the same when you look at your very first before pictures and remember that those pictures were the start to your journey of a wonderful lifetime full of fitness!
I am just like the rest of you when it comes down to being busy, I’m not a parent so I don’t understand the daily stress of having children but I am a full time college student with two jobs. People are always asking me how I find time to go to the gym and I tell them it’s all about priorities to me. When I signed up for that Gold’s Gym Challenge I committed myself to a lifetime journey and it’s one I will never give up. I look back and my old pictures and my old clothes and it makes me want to be at the gym! I know that I won’t get fit over night and I won’t get fit sitting on my couch eating cookies!
So, my tips of the week are simple! Keep your old fat pictures and make the gym one of your priorities. All the hard work and extra time DOES pay off over time and getting the self satisfaction that you can go an extra floor on the stair stepper or an extra mile on the treadmill is one that is worth it all in itself. I am a true believer that if I can do it anyone can! Feel free to share your stories with me in my comments! I LOVE hearing them and anything you guys want me to write about just let me know and it’ll be done!
P.s. Who is doing the performance challenge with me!?

You have inspired me to get back into shape and not use excuses! Your success is so awesome! I like how you are honest and open about your journey and let people know it's not easy but it is possible.
Jess,
I was sitting just a few rows behind you at the challenge ceremony and you were so cute when you sank down in your chair when Vinnie asked you to come up on stage. Your pictures came up and gave me just chills. I am so proud of you for taking charge in your life and being so young. I took time to read your essay when I was at the gym and it really made me think of how many people lives you're going to touch by being strong and showing the world you can do it. You have touched my life and you are my new motivation for working out.
