Thinking back a few short years ago I remember walking into the office to get my first Gold’s Gym Challenge pictures taken. If I’ve ever felt like the room was closing in on me that would’ve been the day. To this day I’m told I didn’t breathe the whole time I was in there. I’m just 5 foot 6 inches tall and I weighed 281 pounds and had 58% body fat. The worst part of all… I was only 19. I asked my mom once how I ever got so “big” and she told me that once I got my driver’s license I would come home every day with a different fast food cup. I use to order pizza and eat the whole thing; of course I’d take the trash out before anyone saw. I’d even eat a whole cheesecake all by myself. No wonder I was so big.
Today I’m 22 years old and what’s considered to be healthy. I’m still the same height but I weigh 165 pounds and have just 23% body fat. I recently just finished my first half marathon and cannot wait for my next run! Now, my version of fast food is rushing to the gym on my lunch break and ordering a protein shake! J
